About Me

Zach Reyes, CFP®

Hi, I’m Zach Reyes, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and founder of Circadia Financial Planning. I created Circadia to make financial planning feel approachable, personal, and grounded in real-life experience—not just numbers.

My journey began with a Master’s in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech, followed by years of hands-on experience at a boutique financial planning firm and a regional wealth management/trust institution where I advised clients with over $1 billion in combined assets. Through that work, I learned that the best financial advice isn’t just about wealth—it’s about aligning your money with your life and planning with purpose.

I am passionate about working with Millennial and Gen X clients, as well as medical professionals—especially those navigating career transitions, complex benefits, and growing responsibilities. My wife is a Nurse Practitioner, so I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to balance demanding work with long-term goals.

Circadia is built around what matters most: your values, your priorities, your rhythm. Let’s create a plan that gives you confidence and clarity to move forward.

Outside of Work

Life revolves around my family. My wife (Rachel) and I are raising two amazing kids, a daughter (Aidy – 2015) and a son (Grey – 2017), along with two goldendoodles.

A Few Things About Me

  • Reasonable: Practical, grounded, and always ready to listen.
  • World’s Best Dad Hopeful: My kids are my biggest motivation—and toughest critics.
  • Salt & Pepper: Old enough to have plenty of grey hair, young enough to have decades of career ahead.
  • “He’s Not Bald, He’s Balding”: Unfortunately, something George Costanza and I have in common.
  • Night Owl: Early mornings? No thanks. Late nights? Absolutely.
  • Fueled by Coffee: Excessive coffee drinker.
  • DIY Dreamer: Struggling but determined Do-It-Yourself-er.
  • How I Unwind: Vegging out with a podcast or relaxing with a video game after the kids are asleep.
  • Favorite Weekend Activity: Friday night movie nights at home with my family. Raising the kids with 80s-90s classics.
  • Vacation of Choice: Disney World. Where else can you overpay for food and walk 30,000 steps each day?
